#Process Consultant Job Description:
We position PG&E to effectively carry out its daily business functions, lower its operating costs, and respond to changing business conditions by providing internal and external communications capability, system resource management, and secure data access anytime and anywhere.
#Primary Responsibilities:
1:Ensures seasonal readiness for applications.
2:Primary lead with application vendors and/or IT partners driving key needs on product development.
3:Supports application testing strategy and execution with business analysts and implementation teams.
4:May fill early project management role if needed.
5:Cross process BA expertise on tool sets.
6:System Administration for applications.
7:Deliver application suite related training (not business process training).
8:Identify control point opportunities; partner with data analytics and stakeholders.
9:Tier II issue management and resolution.
10:Requirements owner for small enhancements working with PMs and/or implementation lead.
11:Responsible for early project order-of-magnitude estimates at pre-requirements functional level.
#Job Experience And Requirements:
1:Strong knowledge and adherence of development methodologies, standards, and best practices
2:Understanding of functional areas of business as well as statistical and management science modeling techniques
3:Significant experience gathering requirements, analyzing data, and delivering Business Intelligence solutions
4:Strong analytical, quantitative and problem solving abilities
5:Firm understanding of Microsoft SharePoint Business Intelligence Report Center, Performance Point and ProClarity applications.
6:5 years of SQL query development
7:3 years of Microsoft Business Intelligence design and development
