Position Summary:

Provides general to complex financial, clerical and accounting services to assigned department within the company.

Primary Responsibilities:
1:Manage commission calculations;
2:Assists in training and guiding of lower level and new accounting clerk personnel.
3:Researches accounting records to assist in the identification and resolution of problems or inadequacies of accounting information.
4:Compiles and prepares specialized accounting reports.
5:Inputs accounting data into computer for tracking, manipulation and reporting purposes.
6:Reviews accounting transactions for accuracy and completeness, verifies against appropriate documentation and forwards for processing.
7:Reconciles report discrepancies and problems.
8:Post transactions to various ledgers, journals and registers.
9:Ensure accurate and timely documentation with regard to payroll, inventory and various other deadlines as required for CPA review;
10:Complex accounting support
11:Screens telephone calls, visitors and incoming correspondences for assigned department
12:Follows established guidelines in performing routine day-to-day tasks
13:Establishes and maintains department files in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

14:Provides accounting, finance and clerical support

Job Experience And Requirements:
1:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred;
2:Typically three (3) to five (5) years experience in financial systems.
3:Accounts Payable processing experience required.
4:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5:Proficient in developing and training in the use of financial spreadsheets;
6:Operate 10-key by touch.
7:Knowledge of government contract to include Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
8:Proficiency in Microsoft Applications especially databases. Financial systems experience

Bachelors Degree

Working conditions & Work hours:

Work Hours: 40+? hours are may be required


Salary: 15.00 - 20.00 USD /hour
