1. Two years of experience in the maintenance, repair, and testing of audio and video systems equipment; or,
2. a combination of training, education, and experience that is equivalent to the employment standard listed above and that provides the required knowledge and abilities.
Additional Qualifications: Possession of a valid California Class C Driver's License.
Knowledge of: basic electronics and audio and video theory; the principles, methods, tools, and equipment used to install, test, maintain, and repair electronic equipment; personal computers.
Job Description: This class is distinguished from Communications Equipment Technician in that Electronics System Technician's work with equipment which does not require licensure.
About Salary: $23.54-$28.74 every hour / $4,094-$4,998 monthly / Range: 5666
