Legal Process Supervisor Job Description

Ability To Work:

1. Four years of increasingly responsible experience in producing or processing legal documents, preferably including some supervisory experience; or,
2. two years performing duties equivalent to the class of Court Clerk III or Legal Secretary III with Santa Barbara County; or,
3. equivalent combination of training, education and experience that would provide the required knowledge and abilities.

Possession of a valid California Class C Driver's License may be required at the time of employment.

Knowledge of: functions and operations of a legal processing unit; legal office forms, documents, terminology and filing requirements; criminal, civil and court procedures and court functions; general computer applications (both hardware and software); applicable State codes, regulations, and procedures related to court and other legal actions; English usage for business and legal documents.


Job Description:

About Salary: $22.62-$27.61 every hour / $3,934-$4,803 monthly / Range: 5586

Definition: Under general direction, coordinates and supervises the work of subordinates in a legal processing unit; analyzes, develops and implements policies based on legal requirements and departmental needs; and performs related duties as required.
