Park Ranger Trainee Job Description

Ability To Work: Any combination of training, education and experience that would provide the required and knowledge and abilities.

Possession of valid California Class C Driver's License.


Job Description: Park Ranger Trainee incumbents receive instruction in groundskeeping and facilities maintenance and may progress to either the Park Ranger I-Grounds or Park Ranger I class after six months or more.

About Salary: $13.25-$16.18 every hour / $2,305-$2,814 monthly / Range: 4514

Definition: Under immediate supervision, to learn groundskeeping and facilities maintenance at grounds and parks; and to perform related duties as required.
