Ability To Work:
EDP SYSTEMS PROGRAMMER I:
1. One year of responsible programming and computer operations experience including some knowledge of one of the functional areas listed below; or,
2. one year of experience performing duties equivalent to the class of EDP Programmer II with Santa Barbara County; or,
3. a combination of training, education, and experience that is equivalent to one of the employment standards listed above and that provides the required knowledge and abilities.
EDP SYSTEMS PROGRAMMER II:
1. Two years of increasingly responsible systems programming experience including in depth knowledge of one of the functional areas listed below; or,
2. one year of experience performing duties equivalent to the class of EDP Systems Programmer I with Santa Barbara County; or,
3. a combination of training, education, and experience that is equivalent to one of the employment standards listed above and that provides the required knowledge and abilities.
EDP SYSTEMS PROGRAMMER III:
1. Three years of increasingly responsible systems programming experience including in depth knowledge in two or more of the functional areas below; or,
2. two years of experience performing duties equivalent to the class of EDP Systems Programmer II; or,
3. a combination of training, education, and experience that is equivalent to one of the employment standards listed above and that provides the required knowledge and abilities.
Additional Qualifications: Employment in some positions in this class may require successful completion of criminal background investigation.
