Equipment Service Worker Job Description

Ability To Work:

1. One year of experience in the servicing of motorized equipment; or,
2. a combination of training, education, and experience that is equivalent to the employment standard listed above and that provides the required knowledge and abilities.

Additional Requirements: Possession of a valid California Class C Driver's License.

Knowledge of: the simple mechanical parts and operation of motorized equipment; the proper lubricants for a wide variety of equipment and fittings; tire repair.


Job Description: This class is distinguished from Equipment Mechanic in that incumbents perform the more routine tasks in the maintenance an servicing motorized equipment.


About Salary: $15.01-$18.33 every hour / $2,611-$3,188 monthly / Range: 4764

Definition: Under general supervision, to lubricate and service automobiles, trucks, tractors, and other motorized construction equipment; and to perform related work as required.
