Petroleum Inspector - Technician Job Description

Job Description: This is the trainee-level class. The incumbent receives orientation and training in petroleum inspection work. Work involves conclusions based on the application of established procedures and policies requiring little interpretation. The incumbent is expected to progress to the journeyworker-level within a reasonable length of time.


About Salary: $18.38-$22.44 every hour / $3,197-$3,903 monthly / Range: 5170

Definition: Under close supervision, to learn to perform a variety of technical field and laboratory tasks related to the enforcement of the County Petroleum Ordinance which regulates onshore petroleum facilities and operations; and to do related work as required.
